Well, Mom's birthday was a success. I think everyone had a good time and no one stayed too long so that she could get some rest afterward.
It was great to see my sister and her family. I don't get to see any of them nearly enough. The girls are getting so big.
When we were all there Dad had what he thought was a pinched nerve.......turned out to be Shingles! So, now he can't take care of Mom because she can't be exposed until he's no longer contagious. The good news is that he seems to have gotten his meds at just the right time and is healing nicely. Melissa is riding down here with them in the motorhome on Tuesday, then flying home. Mom and Dad are going to stay for an extended visit (until she has to be back for her next Dr. appt.)
In addition to all the shingle drama, we all, except R, had some sort of stomach virus this week and the entire week was spent with one or more of us throwing up in 48 hr. increments. Poor R was so tired one morning I was trying to get W to eat a cracker at about 6am in our bed (where he had "slept") R rolled over, looked at us and asked if I had given him his enzymes before I fed him that cracker! Now, mixing up which one of your kids has CF...........that's tired!
Wednesday, F had her first ballet class since she was 4. She was so incredibly excited. She loves ballet. It is a 1.5 hr. class. They do ballet 30 min, tap 30 min. and gymnastics the last 30.
I bought new patio furniture today. It is one of those all weather "wicker" conversation sets with the loveseat, 2 chairs and little coffee table. I have been looking at them for at least 6 months now and the sale was really great. (R calls that woman math......"Don't look at what I spent, honey. Look at all the money I SAVED buying this set")
They are all making leaps and bounds with their swimming. F and W go to the bottom of the 8ft side to fish out diving rings now.
It is so hot here! I went to the grocery store Tuesday. One of the things I bought was cresent rolls.......lots of cresent rolls (sale again) from the freezer section. As I stepped out of the store.....didn't even get to the curb, I heard a POP! One of the cans exploded from the temp. change. Two more popped while I was loading the groceries into the car, and another one popped taking them into the house! That last can, we had with dinner, the other 3 were trash.
Faith's vest is on it's last leg. I emailed the vest company tonight. Hopefully it will hold out until we can get another one delivered.

Beautiful photos!
Congrats on selling the house. We know what that's like, so we also know how relieved you are now!!
I absolutely love the "stair step" picture of the kids. How great is that?!?
