Today was good in the school day dept. F and I actually got three subjects in, without too much drama. Language, Spelling with 100% on her test and one missed on the bonus words, and Math orally while bike riding. She is pretty good about being able to mix addition, subtraction and multiplication as given. The last time the CF center wrote her prescriptions, they made a mistake and wrote the albuterol and pulmicort in nebulized form instead of inhaler. This initially seemed like a giant pain since it adds so much time to her already time consuming treatments, but it has really had it's benefits. F has no choice but to sit still during that , and when she's done, she wants to play, play play. This extra nebulizer time has given us extra school time without any arguments. Will is only one review page away from reading his second Hooked On Phonics book and G loves to do her ABC cards and is becoming quite good at them. Not only is she recognizing most, but can also tell the sound and some words they start with. She is, without a doubt, currently the most enthusiastic. It's all about being a Big Girl with that one. Big kid means school, so that's what she wants to do.
We looked a couple of homes in Melbourne this afternoon. I liked one of them a lot, but R isn't as sold. It is an older home, (1989)but has a nice lot. All the newer homes have no yards.........a complaint you've already heard. Besides, it was built since I have been out of HS....., and that wasn't so long ago...........RIGHT?
