Surfing "Dunlap style"

I took the kids to the beach today and Will invented their own form of "surfing". They put their bodyboards down on the wet sand when there's no water and wait for the waves to come to them. Even with the starting out on dry land, they still fall if the wave puts more than an inch of water under the bodyboard when it washes up. It's really funny to watch, but what is so hilarious is.....these people REALLY believe they are surfing!
Faith is studying the period in China when the Great Wall was built. This is her history activity for the day. Isn't homeschool great? :)
Below that is tball pictures from last weekend. Faith won the game ball for her team. She was all over the field and did a great job. She really likes her team, but I suspect a large part of it is that it is an all girl team. I'm still holding out hope for soccer in the fall.
