Okay, I know it's been a while and it might take me a few of these to catch up. When last I blogged, we were in house negotiations that got a little ugly. We ended up getting the house and closed on Dec. 19th. (Friday) We also celebrated Faith's bday that afternoon on the back porch. She had a totally Kailey (AG) birthday.
The next day, we all packed up and went to PC (the kids and I) and to Atlanta (R to meet the movers and work like a dog for the next 3 days)He came to PC on Christmas Eve, we had a great Christmas with Mom and Dad. I will post catch up pictures, too. Of course the kids got way too much. Thank you to everyone that contributed!
Right after Christmas we all came back (Melbourne) including M&D to meet the movers here. The next two weeks were nothing but a blur of boxes. We all got sick with wicked colds, (thank you patient zero.....Gracie) but didn't stop. My poor parents worked like illegal immigrants getting the house set up for us before they went home on Friday. It was all worth it in the end. I love the new house, even though it needs a fence around the yard and a heater for the pool. One reason M&D stayed until Friday was because F had a Dr. appt. in Tampa on Thursday. They stayed to watch W and G for me. They got to go to the zoo and to a park at PAFB. They left not long after we did and didn't get home until right before us. Anyways, they all had a blast, Gommer and Grandaddy, included, and were all bushed....including G&G:) F had been pretty sick and they had called in an oral steroid for her inflamation. BTW, it's not pretty! I kept waiting for her to start her period any moment with the mood swings and unreasonableness. Yes, I know unreasonableness is not a real word, but that was what she was. She had gotten mostly better by the appt., but they still put her on an antibiotic and we are giving her the adult doses of Albuterol and Pulmicort during the healing. The good new is that when I called today for her culture results, they were completely clean again! Even for the MRSA. I just knew it would rear it's ugly head since colds usually start a flare up. So that was super news! This past weekend was race weekend at Disneyworld...yes, DISNEYWORLD. Faith ran the Mickey Mile on Friday. (mom and dad stayed to watch, then went home from there) She did really well, esp. considering that she had been sick and not run but once since leaving the camper. I ran with her that day, and was sore for a week:) So, F and Daddy ran the Mickey Mile together. Of course we wouldn't have let her run alone (up against 13 yr olds) but it was a good thing he went for an unexpected reason. Apparently, some little boy was hitting on her during the race. Yes, I said DURING the race. R said he finally had to get between them running to get rid of him. Oh, and he was older too....at least 8 or 9. Is no where safe? I will post some pictures of tonight's diatribe and continue another time.
