We went to the mall today to take R's shoes to the cobbler. While there, I decided to go look for a few things for the kids. Between my sewing and hand me downs, I can't tell you the last time I bought any of them clothes. (besides sweats at walmart)
So, I was hit with the style change that comes with the move from the 2-5 girls clothes into the 6-10. Wow! What a huge difference! I don't even know where to begin. I guess first of all, it was a bummer that G and F couldn't just get the same outfits in different sizes to match. That however, was not the major dissapointment. When was it decided that my baby, barely 6, should put on these clothes? I couldn't even find a decent pair of shorts with a matching tshirt! I went to Macy's (which was actually the best place because they still grouped 2-6) Dillards, Children's Place, Gap kids and JCPenney. I was so discouraged that no one got anything. Will really needed some new shorts and shirts, but by the time I got around to him, his behavior prevented him from getting anything.
So mom's.......where do I go to get my baby some clothes (besides dressy dresses) Just some playclothes.....Just a tshirt for that matter without the horrible graphics?
Something without sparkly stones or smartass sayings on them. Let me guess............the boys dept., or have the powers that be even ruined them? So, you all get the gist........I guess you even got it by the title of this post and there was no need for my further diatribe tonight.
