Post game wrap up

Well, even though our guy didn't will the election, I can apprieciate the historical implications of it. I just wish it was a historically pivitol candidate that I didn't suspect might be the antichrist. I pray he's not and really will be a great president, and I guess even if he is, that's still part of God's plan too.
While I'm on the subject, I have said for years that out of the "isms" in our society. sexism is still by far more of a problem. A-AM- got the vote before women, A-AM- got the civil right act approved and still no ERA, A-AM-got to the Supreme Court before a woman, and now President.
Now I will get off my political soapbox.
Not a lot going on today. We left the ancient Assyrians and Babylonians in history and moved onto ancient India; Math and Spelling. We went on a couple of walks/bike rides and that's about it. There is an older woman here, at the campground that spends most of her day walking briskly with weights in her hands. Her husband follows faithfully on his bike...Anyway, she stopped today to ask if I home schooled the kids (she walked by the other day while F was riding her bike and being quizzed on her multiplication tables) When I said yes, she told me that she, too, had homeschooled. Judging by her age, she was one of the pioneers of the movement. Her youngest son just went to college last year and her oldest, a daughter, was the first home schooled student to be admitted to Vanderbuilt.......with a scholarship! Now she's a Dr. there. Mommy is, and rightfully so, very proud.
It's suppose to be sunny and 80 tomorrow. If the pool, here at the campground doesn't have the heat turned on, we may go to the beach.
I found an American Girl book club at the Barnes and Noble in Melbourne. I called last night to RSVP. Yes, it seems a little more put together than the one in Atlanta. Anyone could just drop in there. The club is Saturday morning at 10AM. Saturday afternoon is more house hunting in the east Orlando area.
