Flu shots........finally!

Well, we had to drive all the way to Orlando, but finally got everyone flu shots today at the minute clinic. G was so brave! She stepped up, volunteered to go first and only whimpered a little when the needle went in. W was next. A tiny less brave to step up, but did really great when it came time. F had to display some drama to get her out of the stroller and to the lap. Kicked and pushed her (nurse's) hand away, but once we got her restrained, did fine with the actual shot. I tried to tell her not to wait until last because it was worse to sit there and think about it, but what do I know? Afterall, she IS almost 6!
She ran with R this morning. She did very well considering she's only been once before since leaving Atlanta. Her lungs seemed healthier when she was going on a regular basis before. I hope she gets back into it.
My sinus rinses seemed to help. No headache this morning, and clear all day!
We looked around at some more neighborhoods when we were over there. We do love our "civilization", but not the tiny yards to go with it.
