We are back in Titusville. Our time in Panama City flew! We had Will's birthday (twice) dinner with the Alands, lunch with my girlfriends from the bank and spent the day at Pinnacle Port with John and Kristen who were also in for the week. Here are some pictures from our day together. As you can tell, they all still idolize Madison and baby Dow is growing like a weed.
We drove down to the Melbourne area on Sunday to look at houses. We are trying to explore all of our options in R's new territory. A friend of mine from Atlanta ( hi, Maggie) is from Rockledge and told me about a new community in the area named Viera. She said that she would look there if she were moving here, so we drove over to take a look. It is one of those "master planned" communities and we accidently ended up in the "over 55" neighborhood. I wondered if you live there if your grandkids are allowed to visit overnight:) Mom and Dad are having a great time in New England. They finished the leaves in NH, Vermont and the Boston trip and are now in Amish country back in Pen sla vain ya as G calls it. They decided to skip Niagra Falls because of the weather forcast and head back this way. Enjoy the pictures......all the kids had a great time, but F discovered a passion for "surfing" as she refers to it. It is making me think that maybe we should look closer to the coast and not as much in East Orlando. I guess it's not all bad that it is taking our house longer to sell. The more time we have, the more options we open up to as possibilities here. Today I hunted realtor.com for places in New Smyrna/Port Orange/Daytona Shores. I went out on a limb with the search criteria and started considering some other options. What if we didn't live in a planned community like we thought? What if we went a little out and got more land? What if we went the Beach condo route as our primary residence? Okay, so the last one is really out there since the only thing we can afford in an Oceanfront condo is a 2/2. Wow, I'm crazy, but I thought, well, it would seem like a palace compared to what we're in now:)
